Deuteronomy 25:4
If the work has fed you.
Seven hundred years later, Paul carried that verse into the assembly:
Paul did not invent a new principle. The ox that treads out the grain eats some of it while it works. The household that benefits from the labor feeds the laborer.
Nothing on this site is behind a paywall: not the Statement of Faith, not the deeper dives, not the blog. We are not selling the gospel. We are asking those who have been fed to help feed the work.
A partner is a co-laborer. Partners who write with a question get a personal answer where time allows. Partners going through a hard season get the prayers of the assembly. The work is bigger than one person, and partners are how it grows while staying personal.
Every gift goes to Remnant of Promise, a 501(c)(3) with a board that oversees its funds. Twenty-five percent funds the assembly: the books, the Study Bible, the website, and day-to-day work. Seventy-five percent goes back out to the hungry, the homeless, the widow’s broken roof, free home repair, and free tree service where a tree endangers a home.
We are not asking you to feel guilty or to give beyond your means. There are no countdown timers and no pressure.
If you stop reading here, you have lost nothing. The truth you came for is yours. If you would like to walk further, into the books or into partnership, you will be walking with friends.
