Remnant of Promise
Website: remnantofpromise.org
Last Updated: June 6, 2026
This policy covers remnantofpromise.org, bible.remnantofpromise.org, and the Remnant of Promise study Bible app for mobile devices. Plain answers, no fine-print games.
Remnant of Promise is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization. We operate this website and the Remnant of Promise study Bible (on the web at bible.remnantofpromise.org and as a mobile app). You can reach us at info@remnantofpromise.org.
Reading without an account: the full 66-book canon is open to anyone. You can read without creating an account. Reading preferences you set (theme, the sacred-name display choice, study-aid toggles, your last reading position) are stored on your own device, not on our servers.
If you create an account: we store your email address and a securely hashed password so you can sign in. If you use study tools while signed in — highlights, study notes, reading preferences synced across devices — that content is stored with your account so it follows you between devices.
If you become a partner (paid subscription): payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store your subscription tier and status so the app knows what your partnership opens. Stripe’s handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).
We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking networks in the app. We collect what the work needs to serve you and nothing more.
All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to account data is limited to what operating the service requires.
You can request deletion of your account and everything stored with it — email, study notes, highlights, synced preferences, and subscription records we hold — at any time. Email info@remnantofpromise.org with the subject line “Delete my account” from the address on the account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days. If you have an active subscription, we will cancel it as part of the deletion so you are not billed again.
The app and website are general-audience surfaces for reading scripture. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
We use a small number of providers to operate the service: web hosting and database infrastructure for the app and site, Stripe for payment processing, and WordPress for account sign-in on remnantofpromise.org. Each receives only what its function requires.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Material changes affecting account holders will be announced to the email on the account.
Questions about this policy or your data: info@remnantofpromise.org. The Terms of Service govern use of the site and app.
